Juventus ready to pay €30m release clause for Barcelona, Liverpool target N'Zonzi

Juventus are ready to make a big offer for Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona target Steven N’Zonzi.

Marca are reporting that the Bianconeri are ready to pay the French midfielder’s 30 million release clause in order to speed up a move to the J Stadium.

And yet, the man Sam Allardyce tried to recruit for England was reportedly worth only 20m this summer, a summer the Bianconeri refused to pay.

What has happened since? The fact that the former Stoke and Blackburn man shined against the Old Lady in Champions League action on Tuesday certainly helps, but there’s something else: transfer market experts Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici really want to add some strength to that central midfield, one that contains either developing players (Mario Lemina), new faces (Miralem Pjanic) or injury risks like Claudio Marchisio, Sami Khedira and Kwadwo Asamoah.

With Barcelona also hot on the Sevilla man, the Bianconeri are ready to splash out, partly because they’re now assured of qualification to the Round of 16 of this year’s Champions League.

N’Zonzi has netted five La Liga Goals in 38 appearances since leaving Stoke.
