Roma return to the idea of Debuchy
According to The Daily Star, Roma he reignited their interest Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy. The 31-year-old Frenchman was linked with a move to the giallorossi in the summer and after a season where he has failed to find a place in Arsene Wenger’s starting XI, a January move could be on the cards.
Debuchy sent his coach a timely reminder that he was still available for selection by scoring a stunning goal for the Gunners Under-23 side North London rivals Spurs last week, but his future looks to be distant from The Emirates Stadium. Roma boss Luciano Spalletti has been hit with several key injuries to his defenders this season and is still looking for ample cover at right-back after Alessandro Florenzi damaged his cruciate knee ligaments last month.
The Italian club look like they will face competition for his services however, with Turkish giants Galatasaray also reportedly in the hunt.
