    La Liga giants battle it out for PSG defender

    La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are going to go head to head to sign PSG defender Serge Aurier. The French right-back is being heavily linked with leaving the Parc des Princes over the last few months due to some disciplinary issues which have put him under bad light in France.

    Barcelona are still looking for a long time successor of Dani Alves who moved to Juventus for free last summer and Aurier is one of the players monitored by the Nou Camp outfit alongside Darijo Srna who, however, could join the LaLiga title holders in January with Barcelona signing a younger right-back in the next summer transfer window.

    According to a report of fichajes.net, however, Atletico Madrid are also considering signing the 23-year-old defender under contract with PSG. Trouble is, the colchoneros have been handed a two-transfer window ban and are unable to register new signings until the 2018 January transfer window.
