Juve: Matic or Witsel to replace Pogba

The countdown is on to Higuain to Juventus and Pogba to Manchester United. The French midfielder has been joined in Miami by his agent Mino Raiola to define the deal. The 23-year-old is ready to sign a five-year deal at Old Trafford worth €12 million a season plus bonus. An agreement between the two clubs is scheduled in the next few days which will see the bianconeri collect €120 million excluding a further €20 million that will go to the player himself.

THE SEARCH FOR A REPLACEMENT BEGINS
After the no of Barcelona for Rakitic and Real Madrid for Kroos, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the player in pole-position is Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic. Moussa Sissoko of Newcastle is also in the notebook and so is Belgian international Axel Witsel however, both men are unlikely to be heading to Turin this summer. Other names being linked include Biglia (Lazio), Brozovic (Inter) as the Old Lady prepares to bid farewell to Hernanes, Pereyra and Lemina.

    IN ATTACK
As well as Higuain, Juve continue to point to Santos youngster Gabigol to bring even more strength to an already impressive strike-force. Current front-man Simone Zaza could vacate his position in the team with Wolfsburg, West Ham, Roma, Napoli and Milan all vying for his signature. Croatian Mario Mandzukic’s future is also in doubt. The player returns from vacation tomorrow for a summit meeting with Marotta.
