PSG propose Juventus audacious swap deal to sign Mario Mandzukic

PSG are looking for a back-up striker to Edinson Cavani and, according to sportmediaset.it, the Ligue1 side have offered the Serie A giants a player-swap deal. The French side are interested in signing the Old Lady’ supersub Mario Mandzukic and are reportedly ready to offer Grzegorz Krychowiak in exchange for the Croatian frontman.

Krychowiak is one of Unai Emery’s favourite picks, but with the Spanish manager who is on the brink of sacking, PSG could offer the Polish striker to Juventus as the signing of a new striker is among the French club’s priorities for the January transfer window.

Grzegorz Krychowiak, 26, joined the Parc des Princes hierarchy last summer from Sevilla for € 33 million, but has yet to score one goal or register one assist in his first 15 appearances with the French club.

Mandzukic, on the other hand feared to be given short of game time after the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain, but the former Bayern Munich star has managed five goals and two assists in 20 appearances with the Old Lady so far this season.
