Paper talk: Inter make Blanc contact, Marchisio makes return to Juventus lineup

With Inter boss Frank De Boer who could be sacked if fails to win against Torino tonight, the nerazzurri  are already looking for possible replacements for the Dutch boss who lost six of the opening 12 games of the season.

According to French paper L’Equipe, former PSG coach Laurent Blanc has already been contacted by the Serie A giants. Blanc, who played for Inter from 1999 to 2001 during his playing career, has informed the club that he’s interested in getting the Inter job, should De Boer face sacking.

Blanc has won four French titles, three with PSG and one with Bordeaux in 2008. He has won 15 domestic French trophies in his career.

Meantime, with Serie A back tonight for some mid-week action, Juventus fans are hopeful to see Claudio Marchisio back to action after six months. Reports from several Italian newspapers claim that the Italian midfielder is set to start for the Old Lady tonight in the Sampdoria clash.

Marchisio has been out of action for six months with a knee injury which also forced him to skip Euro 2016 with Italy national team last summer.
