Juventus target Mkhitaryan wants Man Utd stay

Armenian start Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Manchester United last term in a € 42 million deal from Borussia Dortmund. The attacking midfielder, however, has failed to live up to expectations at the Old Trafford so far this season and rumours suggest a possible departure in the January window.

Juventus are among a host of top European clubs which are interested in welcoming the player’s services, but Mkhitaryan, 27, is still reluctant to leave the Red Devils after less than six months and is said to be motivated to stay with the Red Devils and fight for a spot as regular starter.

José Mourinho has started product of club’s academy Jesse Lingard over Mkhitaryan several times this season, though the Armenian’s lack of game time is also due to some injuries which are affecting his first spell at the Old Trafford.

Mkhitaryan has  just five appearances so far this season and the last Premier League game he played is the derby of Manchester which was played on the 10th of September.
