Besiktas enter race for Liverpool target Mathieu
The versatile 32-year-old centre-back will see his game time at the Nou Camp reduced due to the arrival of compatriot Samuel Umtiti who had also replaced the former Valencia man in senior France national team squad after his injury at the end of last season.
Mathieu’s market value is believed to be around € 7 million.
