After the game won against Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo said: “We have demonstrated to have more experience, and we deserved to win. The penalty shootout is always risky.”
 
“Am I the best player in the world after this game? I am happy because of all this records and for being the top scorer of this competition”, the Portuguese player added. “Can Zidane start a new project? He has proved to be a gentleman, and he deserves to stay here”.
