AC Milan target Biglia: 'I will stay in Italy'

AC Milan are seeking a playmaker, and, as reported in the last days, have joined their city rivals Inter in the hunt for Lazio 30-year-old Lucas Biglia. The contract of the Argentina international -who had been tracked by the rossoneri before he moved to Rome from Anderlecht- will expire in June 2018; the player is also a target for Real Madrid and Manchester United.
From his national team’s training camp, Biglia stated: “At the moment, my intention is to play a couple of more years in Europe and to continue my career in Italy, I’m very happy there”.
Considering the fact that Inter are about to sign both Ever Banega and Roberto Soriano, it seems difficult that the former Anderlecht man will join the nerazzurri; for this reason, a transfer to the rossoneri remains his main option; of course, he could even renew his contract with Lazio, but, at the moment, an agreement has not been found.
