Juventus: Pescara confirm their interest in Mandragora

The Sporting Director of Pescara, Giuseppe Pavone, has been speaking to TMW Radio during the “Viareggio Sport” event. He was asked about the rumours concerning a possible loan-deal with Juventus for midfielder Rolando Mandragora. Pavone explained that; “He could be an idea for January, he’s recovered from his injury and he left us with fond memories at Pescara”.

The 19-year-old spent last season on-loan with the club and was instrumental in their promotion back into Serie A. Juventus came calling however and the youngster, who was owned at the time by Genoa, headed to Turin where he has been unfortunate with injuries that have delayed the start to his season. It was always likely that bianconeri coach Allegri would consider sending the Italian Under-21 international back out on-loan and with the Old Lady having an optimum relationship with Pescara, the Stadio Adriatico was always likely to be his preferred destination.
