Juve, PSG to meet in Montecarlo tomorrow, edging closer to Matuidi deal

Here’s some big news on the Juventus front: L’Equipe reveal that the Bianconeri are set to meet PSG in Montecarlo tomorrow, and the topic of conversation will be Blaise Matuidi, confirming Nicola Balice’s exclusive from yesterday.

Though PSG’s Qatari owners are hostile to Juventus for stealing Kingsley Coman from under their noses and trying the same with Jonathan Ikoné, the mediation of a certain Mino Raiola seems to have smoothed over the cracks enough for both sides to draw closer.

The Parisians are asking for €30 million, plus €4m more in bonuses, whilst the Bianconeri are offering €27m, and €3m more in bonuses.

Matuidi himself has already agreed to a deal with Juve, based on €9m gross salary a year (€4.5m after tax), and there is great optimism about the deal.
