PAPER TALK: Cuadardo closing in on Juve return, AC Milan priority midfield target revealed
According to Tuttosport, Juventus want to sign the player on a loan deal with compulsory buy-out clause and Lucci will meet Juventus’ chiefs today, trying to find a way to persuade Chelsea after that the player has already informed the Premier League club that he wants Juventus return.
Juve hope to finalize the Cuadrado deal by this week.
Meantime AC Milan are looking for some midfielder reinforcement but, as Adriano Galliani said yesterday, Mateo Kovacic and Leandro Paredes are not going to arrive at the San Siro as Florentino Perez and Luciano Spalletti don’t want to sell their starlets.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Tottenham man Benjamin Stambouli tops the rossoneri midfield shortlist.
The PSG midfielder will have very reduced game time at the Parc des Princes this season and Adriano Galliani has already made contact with the French side trying to sign the 26-year-old on a loan deal with option to buy.
