Mihajlovic: 'Not hard to work out what Milan’s problems are'

Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has had a tough time of it lately, with some talk of Milan replacing him after their 4-0 defeat to Napoli on Sunday.

On Thursday, Mihajlovic found time time answer questions from reporters following Milan’s 3-0 win in a friendly over Monza.

“I don’t need to talk to Galliani to know what Milan’s problems are,” the former Lazio and Inter player told assembled reporters.

“Our chat was constructive as always. We’re working to solve them.”

Mihajlovic also expounded on his current state of mind.

“At the end of the day winning is the only thing that matters, in football what happens on the pitch does the talking.

“When you win, you’re pretty, when you lose…"

He had little to say about Keisuke Honda’s candid words about the Rossoneri’s current predicament, and how to get themselves out of it.

“It’s not like him, but I’m not sure what he said.”

Mihajlovic also had a few things to say about Milan’s defence, though the Diavoli faithful  won’t be so enthusiastic to find out that he is thinking of using Poli (“a good option at full-back”) in defence.

    Philippe Mexes was mentioned, too.

“He isn’t 100%, but he has character and resumed training yesterday. We hope that he’ll be able to train regularly without any problems.”
