    Castan thanks Sabatini: 'You believed in me when no-one else did'

    As of yesterday, Walter Sabatini is no longer AS Roma’s director of Sport, resigning his post and being temporarily replaced by Fredric Massara. 

    One person in particular is very, very grateful to the former DS, Leandro Castan, who took to twitter to thank the man who acquired him from Corinthians, and stuck by him during two difficult years, in which the Brazilian had to recover from a near-fatal condition.

    “You brought me to Italy, you believed in me when nobody did, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Good luck for the future!”.
