Barcelona to sign Brazilian defender on a permanent deal
Marlon joined Barcelona on loan with option to buy last summer and the LaLiga giants can activate a € 6 million option to buy to make the player’s move permanent in January. The Blaugrana, however, could eventually invest less than that as Fluminense have some debts with the Nou Camp hierarchy.
Barcelona have already informed the Brazilian club that they want to sign Marlon on a permanent deal and the Catalans are set to finalize his permanent transfer once the winter transfer window opens.
Marlon has not been included in Barcelona’s LaLiga squad list for the first part of the 2016/17 campaign and made his senior debut in Barcelona’s away Champions League win to Celtic on the 23rd of November.
