Spurs join West Ham, Stoke in race for Liverpool striker Sturridge
It looks like Daniel Sturridge can add another club to his list of admirers.
As written by Bleacher Report in the last few hours, Tottenham Hotspur have joined the line for the Liverpool striker, whose starting role has been undermined at Liverpool by a trio of brilliant players in Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
B/R insider Dean Jones confirmed that the London side had inquired after Sturridge, who used to play for Chelsea, and may do so again for January.
With Harry Kane in poor physical shape and Vincent Janssen struggling to score, Spurs could do with a clinical striker in the box who matches Sturridge’s profile.
West Ham and Stoke City - two clubs who are coincidentally looking for much the same thing - have also expressed an interest in the Birmingham native, who has yet to score a Premier League goal this season.
