Which players did Inter and AC Milan scout during Italy-Germany?
AC Milan’s DS Massimiliano Mirabelli and his Inter counterpart Piero Auslio were spotted in the stands of the San Siro yesterday night and are said to have used yesterday’s game to keep a close eye on some of their transfer targets.
According to Tuttosport, Inter’s DS had been watching Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leto, who started the game for Germany in place of Manuel Neuer and is one of the candidates to replace Samir Handanovic at the end of the season alongside Genoa’s Mattia Perin. The product of AC Milan’s academy Matteo Darmian also started the game for Italy and was watched closely yesterday night as he’s a January transfer target of the Serie A giants.
AC Milan’s DS, on the other hand, had been monitoring Andrea Belotti who is the main candidate to become the club’s new striker next season. Belotti proved to be ready to play for a big club even if Torino are ready to offer the Italian striker a new contract including a release clause of € 60 million.
