Juventus send scouts to watch Atalanta hotshots play for Italy's Under-21s

Juventus’ search for Europe’s best and brightest continues.

Our sources tell us that Fabio Paratici’s scouting network will have observers present at Italy’s Under-21 friendly with Denmark this evening, set to kick off at 1730 GMT in Bergamo.

Two of the players are well known to Serie A fans by now: Andrea Conti and Mattia Caldara, who play for local side Atalanta, and who Juventus had scouted in late October as they beat Genoa 3-0.

Conti, 22, began the season with two assists against Lazio, and popped up with his first goal of the campaign against Sassuolo two weeks ago, helping the Dea to a 3-0 win.

Caldara, also 22, has actually netted twice in Serie A action despite playing in defence, but what has really shone through is his overall skill, enough to attract interest from Inter.

The Nerazzurri are also very interested in Conti, the rumour mill heating up on that front in the last couple of days.
