Transfer correspondent Fabrizio Romano can reveal that the Sky Blues were watching the Juventus starlet as he performed against Dinamo Zagreb in the youth Champions League.
The 16-year-old could be the next youngster who moves to Manchester, as part of a trend that has seen Leroy Sané and Gabriel Jesus move to the Etihad, and Ante Coric be targeted by the Mancunians.
City could make the most of Kean’s current contract negotiations with Juventus, who have yet to define his future: his family wants him to sign, and agent Mino Raiola wants a deal that is appropriate for a player opf his talent, and a strategy to develop him, which includes sending him on loan to a top division club.
The Bianconeri, however, don’t want to get carried away and overpay, or indeed pay any agency fees for a 16-year-old.
