REPORT: Roma overtake Milan in hunt for Perotti

After failing in selling Luiz Adriano and Mbaye Niang, AC Milan have almost no chances to sign a new forward. After that Leicester City have shown their interest for the Frenchman, the rossoneri have made a new attempt for Genoa winger Diego Perotti, but –as explained by their Chief Executive Adriano Galliani- the English club has finally renounced to the 21-year-old. Such situation –as outlined by calciomercato.com- has allowed AS Roma to sprint for the Argentine.
The giallorossi are ready to pay €3 million to the Liguria’s club for the loan and €9 million to sign Perotti to permanent deal. By the way, during today’s press conference, Roma new boss Luciano Spaletti has admitted to be interested in the former FC Sevilla man.
On the other hand, the grifoni’s president Enrico Preziosi has been quite elusive about the possibility for the 27-year-old to quit the Luigi Ferraris.
