Paper talk: AC Milan eye Verratti and Gabbiadini, Juventus’ transfer strategies revealed

Today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport reports that AC Milan have set sights on Marco Verratti. The rossoneri want to build a new team with a strong Italian identity and with a Chinese consortium ready to complete the club’s takeover (Berlusconi said that new owners are going to invest € 400 million in the next two years), AC Milan fans can dream of signing big names like the one of the highly-rated PSG playmaker.

According to Tuttosport, there is another Italian star on the rossoneri’s radars: Napoli wantaway striker Manolo Gabbiadini. The former Samp man wants to leave Napoli looking for more game time and the possible departure of Carlos Bacca would see him partnering with Gianluca Lapadula up front at AC Milan next season.

Inter are also interested in welcoming the services of the 24-year-old striker and won’t make AC Milan’s life any easy.

    La Gazzetta dello Sport
reports that Juventus are still in race to sign Marko Pjaca, though Liverpool and AC Milan are leading the race for the Croatian starlet and Napoli have agreement with the club but not with the player.

Giuseppe Marotta has already reached agreement with the 21-year-old offensive midfielder but doesn’t want to take part to any auction. The Old Lady has offered € 15 million and could decide to raise the bar putting € 17 on the table. No more than that. Today’s edition of Tuttosport also suggests the Serie A defending champions will offer € 50 million to Everton and Arsenal to sign Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, though only one of them can possibly arrive to the J Stadium
