PAPER TALK: Inter to give up on Yaya, Raiola responds to Lineker’s comments on Pogba

PAPER TALK: Inter to give up on Yaya, Raiola responds to Lineker’s comments on Pogba

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could give up on Yaya Touré who is considered the priority signing for Roberto Mancini. The Italian paper reports that there are two main problems for the 33-year-old transfer.

The first one is that the nerazzurri don’t want to invest too much money on a player who is close to retirement and would prefer to put money on a younger prospect. Secondly, Manchester City are not willing to let Yaya leave the Etihad Stadium for free even if his contract expires in June 2017. The Premier League side don’t want bags of money, but they are not even open to let the player leave for nothing.

It will be very disappointing for Roberto Mancini, but his dream of seeing Yaya wearing the nerazzurri shirt could be broken already.

The future of Paul Pogba is also a matter of interest. The player agent Mino Raiola has responded to Gary Lineker who had labelled Pogba as the ‘world’s most overrated player’.

“If one’s paid to talk about football, it doesn’t necessarily mean he knows about football. How does he know Pogba’s value? If I look at how much player’s are paid, like Batshuayi to Chelsea for € 40 million, than I think Pogba is undervalued”, the powerful player’s agent told Rai

“Pogba’s worth the maximum that a club can pay for him.”

Real Madrid and Manchester United are being linked with welcoming the player’s services even if Juventus have already informed the player and his agent that Pogba is not for sale. They might only sell the Frenchman if he asks to leave the club.
