Wolfsburg, Inter or...Napoli! Which future for Manolo Gabbiadini?
Scorer of nine goals in 28 appearances, Gabbiadini’s minute-per-goal ratio is one of the best in Serie A (one every 108 minutes). Oddly, both him and Dries Mertens could leave the San Paolo in the summer, looking to get more playing time elsewhere.
We’ve already revealed all the latest new concerning the Belgium International, but which future is Gabbiadini heading towards?
According to CM.com’s Alessandro Di Gioia, the Italian striker has attracted the interest of Wolfsburg and Inter.
Both clubs tried to sign him last January and will definitely make one more attempt in the summer. With Gonzalo Higuain who’s very likely to extend his Napoli deal, Gabbiadini doesn’t want to be a back-up of the Argentinean striker for one more season.
Given the player’s ruthless and versatility, Roberto Mancini believes Gabbiadini would be perfect to complete Inter’s attacking force, but Napoli seem not eager to sell their talented striker to direct Serie A rival.
Wolfsburg could make a bid at the end of the season, while Napoli will try to persuade Gabbiadini not to pack his suitcase and staying at the San Paolo.
