    FOCUS: Gabbiadini could leave Napoli

Today, Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini had finally his chance to start in Maurizio Sarri’s squad, because of the ban received by Gonzalo Higuain. The 24-year-old paid his coach back by scoring an important goal against Verona. By the way, the former Sampdoria man has always done well every time that he had the chance to play.
During the last transfer window, Wolfsburg offered an important amount to both the azzurri and the player, but the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis decided to keep Gabbiadini. However, as Napoli were eliminated by both the TIM Cup and the Europa League, the Italy international spent most of his time on the bench.
Now, Gabbiadini is enjoying the positive moment, and will try to use his chances to show all his qualities, but at the end of the season he will have to make a decision. As Sarri considers him a center forward only, he will have to leave if both the manager and Higuain will be confirmed; in this case, De Laurentiis will ask at least €25 million; on the contrary, if the Argentine will leave, De Laurentiis could decide to consider the Italian El Pipita’s heir.
