AC Milan keep on seeking a new coach for the next season, and, as reported by Leggo, their first option is Sampdoria 45-year-old Sinisa Mihajlovic: the club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani is trying to convince the Serb to accept his offer. In the mid time, the rossoneri are trying to reinforce their team, and, according to the Swiss press, are in competition with city rivals Inter Milan in the hunt for Udinese 21-year-old right back Silvan Widmer; to obtain the player, the Lombard club is ready to offer to the bianconeri 22-year-old forward Stephan El Shaarawy. Another Milan’s target is Empoli 28-year-old midfielder Mirko Valdifiori, and from the Italian national team’s training camp, the player has declared to be honored of the great clubs’ interest, even if now he is focused on his current team. Regarding the possible departures, the rossoneri –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- are not intentioned to extend the contract of their defender Philippe Mexes: the Frenchman is having some good performances, but his salary is considered too high. Similar future –as reported by the Corriere dello Sport- for 30-year-old midfielder Nigel De Jong, tracked by Juventus and Manchester United.
