Mihajlovic rubbishes exit rumors at AC Milan
“It’s fair to say things as they are. I want to clarify I haven’t spoke with anyone in Coverciano yesterday. I have more than one year left on my contract and I am happy to stay here”; Miha told Milan Channel.
“I believe AC Milan are building the basis for future successes and I am sorry to notice that one defeat was enough to start speculations over my future again.”
“Those rumors are totally false, we are working to win our next game against Chievo.”
“Of course I want to carry on working at AC Milan. I will never be thankful enough to both Mr. Galliani and Mr. Berlusconi. I have my integrity and I’ve always had balls and not fear to talk. I am a man before than a manager, if someone doesn’t believe me, they can talk to my former presidents. One can criticize me as a manager, not as a man.”
“I am focused on AC Milan’s next game. Sunday’s defeat against Sassuolo was painful, but we have to remember all the good things we’ve done until now. There are only ten games left and I only have time to think about myself, not what other managers say (referring to Inter boss Roberto Mancini who said AC Milan have to be considered out from the race to qualify to Champions League).
The Serbian manager will serve a one match ban against Chievo next week-end after using disrespectful words towards the referee during AC Milan’s 2-o defeat against Sassuolo last Sunday.
