Lichtsteiner set for November comeback
The former Lazio suffered from breathing problems during the half-time of the match against Frosinone. The subsequent medical checks that he had to undergo immediately after, highlighted a benign cardiac arrhythmia that was surgically removed a few days later.
Shortly after the operation, Juventus stated that the complete recovery of the 31 year old would have only take a month, even if some news that emerged on the following days warned the Bianconeri supporters that Lichtsteiner’s absence from the pitch could have last up to six months.
Juventus have not officially confirmed this rumor, so their last communication about the issue has to be considered valid. Today, the player’s return to the training pitch has been cheered by the Old Lady on their official Twitter account.

Massimiliano Allegri’s hope is that Lichtsteiner will be available for the Turin derby the next 31st of October. If his comeback would be confirmed, then the Bianconeri may not chase a right-back in the next transfer window.
In the last few days the names of Arsenal’s Mathieu Debuchy and Sassuolo’s Šime Vrsaljko were linked with a Juventus Stadium move in January.
