Lazio, Radu: "When Totti complains, the referees always listen"

A week to go until the first capital derby of the season and Lazio defender Stefan Radu has already lit the blue-touch paper. The 30-year-old Romanian has been talking to Il Tempo about next Saturday’s big match and he began by stating what the game means to him, explaining that; “So many emotions, the most wonderful one is the one on 26 May 2013 when we won the Coppa Italia but unfortunately since then, we have not been able to beat Roma but we have been cursed with some bad luck”.

The conversation then moved on to giallorossi captain Francesco Totti and Radu racked up the tension ahead of next weekend by stating that; “When he complains, the referees always listen. Some players are treated differently to others”.
Totti is struggling for fitness ahead of the game but has stated to Sportweek magazine that he wants to be involved in next week’s big capital showdown.
