Juve plan to beat Liverpool to ex-Milan youth Saponara
M.G.
During the last transfer window, Juventus failed in signing an attacking midfielder, as 22-year-old Julian Draxler finally joined Wolfsburg, so that their head coach Massimiliano Allegri had to renounce to use the 4-3-1-2 and recovered the 3-5-2 to take advantage of Juan Cuadrado’s skills. But if the World Champion is no longer an option, Empoli 23-year-old Riccardo Saponara still is. The player was a target for Napoli, but his former coach Maurizio Sarri has changed formation, so that –as outlined by the Corriere dello Sport- the bianconeri will have a concrete chance to sign him. It seems difficult that the Tuscan club will let the former AC Milan player leave during the next transfer window, but the Serie A defending champions could try to find an agreement in January to bring the player in Turin at the end of the season. On the other hand, Juve could also convince to renounce the azzurri to renounce to their starlet immediately by offering them some cash plus the loan of 22-year-old center back Daniele Rugani.
