Juve, between De Sciglio & Danilo
With a change on the bench at the San Siro, the 23-year-old could reclaim his place in the starting XI for the rossoneri, but the future remains uncertain and a move to Turin a possibility. The player’s agent, Giovanni Branchini, confirmed last week that his client was close to joining Juventus in January and now it seems coach Allegri would be more than happy to welcome him in the summer.
The Old Lady would use Uruguayan Martin Canceres as bait to land De Sciglio; the player, who is out for the rest of the season due to injury, will leave Turin at the end of the season. This was the original plan for the rossoneri in January and it seems it could now happen this summer. Another name linked with any potential swap deal is striker Simone Zaza, deemed surplus to requirements at the J Stadium at the end of the current campaign.
It’s not only De Sciglio under observation however, Real Madrid defender Danilo is another name linked with the bianconeri. A former teammate of Alex Sandro at Porto, Danilo has failed to command a regular starting berth at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are reported to be ready to off-load the 24-year-old for around €20 million.
