Despite having not found the net for his new club so far this season, Antonio Candreva has been one of the main protagonists for Inter. The former Lazio wide man has been answering questions from the fans on the clubs official twitter page where he explained that; “It fills me with pride to wear this shirt, I’m at one of the biggest clubs in the world. I will give everything for these colours”.
 

When asked how he would rate his season so far he replied; “I would give myself a six to myself and also the team”. On his new coach Frank de Boer he stated that; “He tries to be as offensive as he can but we know we can still improve. I’ve been impressed with his mentality to the job and his way of working”. On some of the young Italian talent around at the moment he picked out; “Pinamonti in the Inter squad and for the national team I would say Belotti and Donnarumma”.  

On being new owners The Suning Group’s first major signing he explained that; “I’m proud to have been their first major investment”. Asked if his inclusion in the team had made Mauro Icardi a better striker he replied; “I hope I can help him more, he is very strong player and along with Klose, the best striker I have played with”. On life after football he responded with; “I don’t really know at this time, but I think I would like to go into coaching”. Finally, if he hadn’t been a footballer; “I think I would have been an electrician but can you imagine how many blackouts there would have been in Rome!”
