Inter, Suning want to sign a big name and James Rodriguez is the priority
Lack of game time under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid and injuries that have prevented him from playing on a regular basis with Colombia national team have made this year one of the worst in his career.
Rodriguez struggled to play regularly at Real Madrid after the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid’s boss one year ago as the Frenchman swapped the Merengues to a 4-3-3 system from Benitez’s 4-2-3-1.
Things have gone even worst in the last few weeks as Colombian criminal group Legion Folk have sent him death threats through a box full of guns and bullets that were sent to James Rodriguez mum’s house last week.
“Inter love me, but I’ve always wanted to stay at Real Madrid”, James told Radio Onda Cero a few weeks ago.
The nerazzurri, however, have yet to give up on El Diez as Suning want to gift Frank De Boer with a big name in one of the next two transfer windows and they believe that James Rodriguez would be the perfect profile to join the Meazza, not only in footballing terms, but also from an economic perspective.
Suning want to sign the first big name of their presidency to start their development strategy in the Asian market as well and with the player who’s looking for a fresh start and for more game time, Inter have a chance they don’t want to miss.
