Inter, Blanc the new name to replace de Boer
It’s another big day in the future of Inter coach Frank de Boer; defeat to Atalanta in Bergamo this afternoon, could call time on his short career on the bench at the San Siro. Tuttosport claims that should the nerazzurri wield the axe on the 46-year-old Dutchman, the man who will be charged to take his place will be former PSG boss Laurent Blanc.
The 50-year-old has been out of work since the summer and spent two years as a player at Inter between 1999-01. The Frenchman is desperate to get back into work and the clubs new Chinese owners want a big name to replace de Boer, should they decide to sack him. As Calciomercato.com has reported however, it’s still firmly believed in many circles that Fabio Capello remains the number one choice. A win in Bergamo later today however, would give the Dutchman a stay of execution…for now.
