    Lorenzo Pellegrini could well be moving to Juventus soon, if the latest report from the Corriere dello Sport (via TuttoJuve) has got it right.

    The Sassuolo star emerged as one of Italy’s most promising players last season, and has confirmed everything this time around

    As with a few of his Neroverdi team-mates, Pellegrini is tied to former club Roma, who can buy him back for 10 million.

    The Corriere claim, however, that the Scudetto hopefuls could agree to give up on the clause as part of the deal to bring Gregoire Defrel to the Olimpico.

    Defrel, 25, has already scored six goals this season in Serie A action for the Emilians.

    While Spalletti wants a striker now, Juventus are willing to recruit young players, but also wait for them.

    Willing to send upcoming signing Mattia Caldara back to Atalanta, the Bianconeri are also fascinated at the prospect of nabbing Pellegrini on a similar deal, with reports indicating that Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta have been watching him for a few weeks now.
