Giovinco: "Juve will return to top"
Who misses Sebastian Giovinco?
We all do. Boy, do we miss him.
The Toronto fantasista and MLS MVP candidate took some time off his team's playoff preparations to talk about his first love, Juventus. Despite a poor start from the Bianconeri, Giovinco expects the team that launched his career to get back to winning ways- and the top of the table- before long.
"Nobody expected Juve's bad start," the "Atomic Ant" told Sky Sport 24.
"I think the team can climb back up the table.
"It's an open contest. Roma are there. Even Napoli and Fiorentina could win the title."
Giovinco represented Juventus 89 times in Serie A, bagging 12 goals. He is best remembered by Italian fans, however, for the 22 goals he scored over a two-season period whilst on loan to Parma.
