Flashback: Psg had strong interest in Juve’s Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain moved to Juventus this summer but the Italian giants weren’t the only team interested in Higuain as Psg also had strong interest in the Argentine forward. Psg considered Higuain as the primary candidate to replace Ibrahimovic (who transferred to Manchester United) but there was one big problem : Napoli’s 90 million euros request.

Once Emery was appointed as Psg's head coach, president Al Khelaifi wanted to sign a big player and there were some contacts made for Higuain. Psg valued the price tag as being too high for a player who will soon be 29 years old. In the end, the French club targeted other players and Higuain finally moved to Juventus. According to Le Parisien , no one at Psg have regrets in doing so ….
