Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero has come out in support for his former international teammate and friend Francesco Totti.
 

Having had a similar experience to the Roma man in his final season at Juventus, the player nicknamed  “Pinturicchio” told Secolo XIX that; “I’m close to Francesco. I know from having had a similar experience that he’s in a difficult situation. Unless you are inside the club, you cannot appreciate how hard it is to try to make the right decision”.
 

He continued; “Regardless of what he decides to do about his future, I would like to think of him as one of those players who will always represent the team where he played”.
