Bologna rule out Ranocchia arrival
Inter leftover Andrea Ranocchia has been strongly linked with a Felsinei loan move in January, but Corvino has denied such possibility.
“Ranocchia is a great central defender but he is too expensive for our finances. [He might join] if things will change in the future…”
Bologna have also set sights on former Rossoblu ace Gaston Ramirez and Boca Juniors star Jonathan Calleri. The latter is supposed to join the Stadio Dall’Ara on a six-months loan via Inter.
“Ramirez is a non-EU player, while it is no secret that we like Calleri, let’s see what’s how the situation will evolve in the future. We are also looking for a backup of Mattia Destro.”
“We have lot of young and interesting players. Taider, Oikonomou and Rizzo are 23-year-old, Masina and Ferrari have 21 and Diawara was born in 1997.”
Corvino has also revealed that Diawara, a Juventus and Chelsea target, will acquire Italian citizenship soon, becoming eligible to play with the Azzurri.
