Barcelona after Chelsea target Pogba
Despite failing to field Arda Turan, the Catalans haven’t curbed their enthusiasm for flashy signings, and are contemplating signing Paul Pogba, according to Sporting Director Robert Fernandez.
“Pogba is a good player, there’s no point in going to see him to verify that.” Fernandez told Cadena Ser.
“In any case, every good player is a Barcelona target”.
Fernandez also had something to say about Neymar.
“Neymar is a very important player and we’ll reach an agreement with him.
“We’ve already initiated talks. Neither Manchester United nor any other club has called us about him.”
“We’re also in talks with Adriano, he has until the 15th March to make his mind up.”
With regards to other transfers, Fernandez was rather more coy.
“I don’t like to talk details. That applies to Nolito, who has a contract with Celta Vigo at the moment. He could be one of our targets, but we haven’t spoken either with him or his agents.
"He’s definitely a good player, as is Coutinho”.
