Zamp: "Mancini worthy of a scudetto, he'd always start Dybala!"
Having already been heavily critical of the way in which Juventus are handling former protégé Paulo Dybala, the controversial president decided to take another pot shot at Bianconeri manager Max Allegri by comparing him to rival Roberto Mancini, whose Inter arguably looked the worse for wear after last Sunday’s scoreless Derby d’Italia.
“Inter have a coach capable of winning the scudetto,” Zamparini told Radio Sportiva.
“Mancini, for example, would always play Dybala.”
Zamparini’s comments need to be taken with a pinch of salt, of course, as he seems to be looking out for Paulo Dybala, one of his best business deals of his tenure after being sold to Juventus for €32 million, having cost Palermo a hair under €12 million.
The edgy Palermo owner still found time for another indirect swipe in Massimiliano Allegri’s direction.
“[He] could well win the title, but you have to organise the team well. Yet when a team wins 1-0 it’s always because of the coach”.
Completely coincidentally, Palermo welcome Inter to the Renzo Barbera on Saturday evening. They will do the same with Juventus only in late November.
