Eduardo Vargas was incredibly close to Napoli, but Inter have made an important step forward in the negotiations for the Chilean ace.

The Nerazzurri have sent out a director to discuss with Universidad de Chile in Santiago while former Inter striker Ivan Zamorano is doing his best to help the club in the negotiations.

The Chilean outfit already turned down a 10M Euros offer from Zenit St. Petersburg.

Meanwhile, Inter may miss out on Juan. The Brazilian defender was close to the Nerazzurri but Internacional have not set an higher price tag for the player.

The Nerazzurri directors are also in touch with Vasco da Gama and Corinthians for Romulo, Ralf and Paulinho.
