Vidal, Inter ahead of Juventus
Inter are competing against Juve and Napoli for Arturo Vidal. Gasperini is looking for a flexible midfielder and, after carefull consideration, the player from Chile would be the one.
Bayer Leverkusen are now prepared to transfer Vidal, whose contract will expire in 2012. Rudi Voeller did not want to sell him to a direct competitor, Bayern Munich, therefore a destination abroad was the best solution. And Vidal choose Italy.
Inter have an advantage over Napoli and Juventus. The Nerazzurri can offer a more advantageous contract and the participation to the Champions League. The Bianconeri offered 10 million euro, a sum that Inter can pay as well with no problem.
Vidal (born in 1987) can support Stankovic. He's got similar skills: a good long distance shot, good timing and knows how to spot an opportunity. In summary, after the acquisition of Jonathan (not yet official) and Ricky Alvarez, the Nerazzurri want to make a third surprise coup.
