Ventura: 'no door closed' for Balotelli return to Azzurri
Transferring to Ligue 1 this season, the former Milan and Liverpool striker has netted six times, earning plaudits from all quarters.
“The problem is that he’s famous more for what he’s done off the pitch than on it”, Italy’s new Coach told the Corriere dello Sport, “He needs to adapt to being part of a group. Secondly, everyone is asking if he’s changed, which means something was wrong beforehand.
“He needs to ask himself that question, and give himself some answers. If he’s that humble he won’t find any doors closed.
“I will, of course, look more into his case, for correctness if nothing else. I like talking to people directly, which is why I called Zaza and Insigne when I didn’t call them up”.
