Udinese: 'Top clubs are after Zielinski, Napoli opted for Santon over Widmer'
“It's normal that there should be interest in Zielinski," Nereo Bonato told Telefriuli (whose interview was transcribed by the excellent UdineseBlog), "he's back here after a very important season. We'll see if there is more interest in him: we won't get in the way if a certain offer is made, and if he wants to leave, but it's the same for everybody".
Asked about right-back and Swiss international Silva Widmer, Bonato said that he's “a delightful kid, he does everything that is asked of him. There are rumours about him, too. What I said before applies to him too, as long as certain conditions are met".
With regards to Napoli, who have been linked to Widmer, he had to say that "they initially chose Santon in the beginning, but we're calm, we'll see how the situation evolves”.
