Thohir hoping for Chinese partners to kick up €60m for 20% of Inter

    News on the Inter front.

According to the Corriere della Sera, owner Erick Thohir is looking for partners in China.

Having tasked Goldman Sachs to look for potential minority owners, the Indonesian chairman wants them to take 20% of the club in return for 60-70 million.

Thohir would give up 14% of his shares, but would still own 56% of the Nerazzurri, whilst Massimo Moratti's share would go down from 29.5% to 23.5%, provided he accepts.

The Indonesian owner is once again on a European tour: having watched Inter lose to Torino at home last night alongside Massimo Moratti, he will head to Lausanne this morning to speak with the International Olympic Committee.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, he will then go to Paris to watch PSG take on Manchester City in the Champions League. Remember what we said about his intention to bring in Qatari investors, or at least for Nasser Al Khelaifi to intercede in looking for partners?

Thohir also hopes to be given preferential treatment in dealing with PSG's wantaways, from full-back Gregory Van Der Wiel to Adrien Rabiot... who has since been playing regularly, which could make things hard.

Another tidbit: though he isn't always in Mila, the magnate was certainly acting like an Italian owner on Sunday, slapping his players on the shoulders and shaking hands along with Michael Bolingbroke. He's getting the hang of it, that's for sure!
