The 'Italian Steven Gerrard’ not very likely to join Liverpool
Former Borussia Dortmund’s boss wants to strengthen the Reds’ midfield in the next transfer window and fill the gap left by Steven Gerrard. According to the Sunday Mirror, the German boss would be ready to pay € 32 million for the Italy International’s services.
Nevertheless, Marchisio is a product of the Bianconeri academy and has recently extended his contract with the 31 times Serie A winner until 2020. Despite the 29 year old has recently struggled due to a couple of muscular hassles, he is among Massimiliano Allegri’s mainstays and it is not very likely that the Turin club would let him go at any cost, neither in January, nor in the future.
The 29 year old is a true idol among the Juventus Stadium fams. Il Principino has already played 310 Juventus matches in his career and he is more likely to become one of the next Juventus’ legends, rather than the Liverpool’s new Steven Gerrad.
