The four players Juventus need to sell in order to buy Higuain
The Argentinean has already agreed to move to Juventus and his € 94 million release clause can be split into two instalments.
As today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport points out, Juventus need to cash in at least € 60 million to afford Higuain’s purchase.
The first one to leave the J Stadium would be Simone Zaza. Wolfsburg have already offered € 25 million for the player who is considering the German’s offer. Roberto Pereyra is on the verge of a move to Napoli for € 18 million, whilst the sale of Mauricio Isla could be worth € 10 million.
What about Rugani? The target of Arsenal, Napoli and Everton costs € 30 million and a similar offer would force Juventus to offload the player if they really want to have Higuain abroad.
As an alternative, of course, there is the sale of Paul Pogba to Manchester United. Juventus want to keep him even if the Red Devils offer € 123 million. They’ll only let the player leave if he asks to play for another club next season.
Meantime Napoli have informed Higuain that he must take a decision over his future within the 25th of July, when the player is expected to return to the club’s training centre to begin the preseason training.
