Stats prove Carlos Bacca is the New George Weah
He’s been so successful, in fact, that the Corriere dello Sport have unearthed a fascinating statistical nugget, in which the Colombian measures up to former legend George Weah.
It turns out that the Colombian is the first Rossonero to directly contribute seven goals to his team’s cause in the first seven games, and is the first to do so in 21 years.
There’s a key difference, however: George Weah only netted four goals to the former Sevilla man’s six!
And to think that Milan had agreed to sell Bacca to West Ham this summer, only for the 30-year-old to prefer the San Siro.
