Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino has used his pre-match press-conference for this weekend’s game against reigning Premier League champions Leicester City, to play down any rumours linking the club with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and a possible move to White Hart Lane. When the question was put to the 44-year-old Argentine tactician he simply replied; “It’s false, absolutely false”.
 

Aguero is out of form and out of favour at the Etihad Stadium under new boss Pep Guardiola and has linked with a move away from the club at the end of the current campaign. The Citizens are just one of several clubs that are reportedly vying for his signature with Serie A champions Juventus also linked this week.  

Guardiola has also stated that the 28-year-old, who has rifled in 107 goals in 157 appearances for City, does have a future with him in England but it seems the player has already decided to seriously consider his options for next season.
